That was my first time to eat at Kanin Club and TRUE ang mga raves tungkol sa kanya. I love their Tinapa Rice & Bagoong Rice. For me, parang sobrang asim...malamang kase sinigang nga sya diba? haha.
Anyway, bilang nasanay na may getaway tuwing anniv, our whole batch booked for a Corregidor Tour via Sun Cruises.

At arrival in Corregidor, these cute "tour buses" welcomed us at the port. These are actually replicas of the trams used in the island during World War II.

This is the first time I set foot on this island. I did NOT expect that much about the island since sabi ng mga nakapunta na it's more of a History class field trip - may isang batang hindi bet ang History class. Sino kaya yun? haha.

BUT when I saw the ruins, I was in extreme AWE. I have nothing but praises and appreciations on how beautiful the island is. LOL. Or pede ka ring mag-emote sa camera at isipin mo pre-nup pic niyo yun. haha. Inarte! lol.

When Corregidor was attacked by foreign colonizers and the island was in extreme downfall, who would have thought that remnants of these ruins would turnout to a beautiful picturesque? I fell in love with this place. Ang saya niyang picture-an. :)

All in all, nag-enjoy ako nang BONGGA sa trip na to. Thanks to Pol, our tour guide, na bumanat ng mga kung anu-anong jokes kaya hindi kami na-bore. In fact, I find Pol's history stories about the island interesting. :) Also, thanks to my batchmates na naka-isip na magpunta kami dito at sa napakaraming pichur-pichur moment at sa napakaraming "at iba pa" moments. haha. hanudaw?
Something I realized after the trip: You can never really imagine what good it can give you despite unfortunate or even WORST circumstances. When you feel that God had abandoned you because of all the bad things that's happening to your life right now, isipin mo na lang na God is planning and preparing you for something BIG - BIGGER than you can ever imagine and GREATER than your GREATEST dream. ;)
